Résumé

The Egyptian state seeks to provide adequate housing for citizens with low and middle incomes that are suitable for their limited financial capabilities. Concerning the pre-contract phase, when it is about a sale's agreement, the general rules for the formation of the contract and its execution are applied. It is important to mention that, during the contract phase and its registration, the Egyptian bar/syndicate takes a percentage of the apartment value. Thereafter, it is important to make a survey determination list for the apartment and have it reviewed in the real estate registry. It is varied from the point of view of marketing offers, as the sources of where to acquire property in Egypt are diverse and varied. In the pre-contract phase, a down payment or a promise to sell the property can be made, but this is not an obligatory step.
