Wang Yaping 王亞平 Dushi de dong 都市的冬1935
Résumé
The harsh life of the common people in the North China and the social hardship of the 920s and 1930s inspired this voiume of radical poetry from a poet scarred since childhood from injustice and suffering. Wang's experience of living the Japanese-occupied of Tianjin and later Tanggu form the backdrop for these poems. The poetry is written in simple yet emotive language.
